For years this app works off and on. STILL can't do many simple things, freezes repeatedly. Tiresome to navigate and given the complexity of the rewards point system, almost not worth the bother. Have made many reservations that worked well with the restaurants, but problem continues with the haphazard operation of the app itself, getting logged in, etc. They should be way better by now...It's 2022.
Most of the time it works but don't always get credit for reservation. It is probably lack of training on the restaurant end maybe? Pays very little for as many visits it requires to get rewards or rewards expire prior to obtaining enough to get credit for them. Dine Rewards is $20 for every 4 visits instead of the 20 it takes on Open Table. Good number of restaurants on Open Table thpugh. It is easy to make the reservation. Not so easy to change.
Really loved this app, but lately I'm being added to restaurant mailing lists when I know I've selected not to be added. It's happened with every reservation I've made in the past six weeks. Please fix. I do not want restaurant emails and I'm tired of having to unsubscribe. Other than that, app is great!
The version of your app I just installed a few weeks ago kept saying it couldn't connect to servers. You're apparently blocking Down Detector, so when they said you have been down for years I decided to check for an update. Sure enough, that was the problem. Please give your app the ability to alert us when you deploy a breaking change instead of a generic offline message.
This app is so much easier than calling the restaurant. The app could be improved by making it easier if a time or number of people in a party has to be changed. As of now, the reservation has to be cancelled and a new reservation reserved, but if the time slots remaining are taken ur just out of luck.
